Introducing Colby Lee!!

On December 29, my brother and sister-in-law added the newest member of our family. Colby Lee was a whopping 9 lbs. 7 oz and was actually born on his due date! You can definetly see the Miles in this baby. Lucinda commented that the Miles Gene must be very strong since the family resemblence is in all of us and our children.Quinton is loving this new baby brother. My mom, thinking she was helping him understand that it would take the baby a while to get big enough to play with, used Quinton's favorite thing to explain babies to him: puppies. She told him that just like his little puppies couldn't run and play when they were first born, neither could Colby. That he would have to learn to crawl first and then he would get to the point that he could walk, run, and play.

So Quinton got down in the floor and said, "Put bubby (or colby, we couldn't really understand him) down here, so he can learn to craw." That took a whole other explanation.Of course Alissa loves him. She wanted to hold him the whole time we were there. If ever there was a child that was born to be a momma, she is it.
